Is the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) part of the Singapore Police Force?
No, NCPC is a non-profit voluntary organisation. It is incorporated as a charity and registered as a society with the Registry of Societies.
How does NCPC obtain the funding to run its programmes?
We depend entirely on donations and sponsorships to run our programmes and activities.
What is the role of the NCPC Secretariat?
Facilitate the Council by providing administrative and operation support to the Council for the initiation and implementation of community programmes for the promotion of crime prevention.
How can I be kept informed of the various crime prevention activities organised by NCPC?
Updates on our events are posted on our website and Facebook page. You can like our facebook page to receive the latest crime prevention advisories and information on our crime prevention events, including Crime Watch.
In what ways can I contribute to help enhance crime prevention awareness within the community?

How can I make a donation to NCPC?
You may download the donation form from our website. Simply fill up the form and write a cheque payable to “National Crime Prevention Council.”
Will I be entitled for tax exemption if I donate to NCPC?
Yes, you will be entitled to a 2.5 times tax exemption regardless of the amount donated as NCPC is an Institution of Public Character (IPC).
