International Crime Prevention Conference 2011

The International Crime Prevention Conference 2011 (ICPC 2011) allowed law enforcement personnel, policy-makers, social workers, researchers and experts in public safety and security to hear from world experts, network with seasoned practitioners, speak to law enforcement officers and policy-makers and see innovative approaches to detecting and preventing crime in action.

The conference theme - 'Building Resilient Societies. Forging Global Partnerships' - celebrates the spirit of community involvement that enables societies to stay resilient, and importantly, keep crime rates low. It also reflects the importance of international collaboration to counter crime in an globlalise and increasingly cyber-connected world.

ICPC 2011 also allowed delegates to gain firsthand experience of the strong partnerships between the Police, the community, and industry that have helped Singapore become one of the safest countries in the world.
